A good audition song for the musical, "Ragtime"?

My eleven, almost twelve-year-old daughter is auditioning for an equity production of "Ragtime." She would love to be either the Little Girl, or Little Boy.... She is mostly a mezzo-soprano, but she can also sing soprano.... What would be some good audition song options for her? This means a lot to her, this will be her first equity show if she gets in....
