Does the character Babette in Beauty and the Beast, the musical have a high range?

I'm thinking about auditioning for Babette at my school, but I'm naturally and alto-soprano range, and someone told me that she has a high C and a high D, and her range is very high, which makes me nervous to go for it. Are her parts of the music really that difficult of a range?
