First pregnancy, and need advice badly!!! Not sure what I am looking for here...?

I am 37w6d along. And every so often when I go to the restroom, when I wipe (sorry, tmi) I find little tiny pieces of like a gooey whitish, substance...it doesn't happen every day, only every couple days or so. Could that be my plug trying to come out? I was told that it can come out in small amounts to were you think it's just discharge. Mines not blood tinged, but idk what else it could be. I'm seeing my doctor Tuesday, and I'm going to ask them then, but until then I was wondering what y'all think it might be....?
