Before you get a Positive ovulation test if you...?

On Saturday the first time ever I got a slimy ovulation like discharge snot like very slimy so that afternoon we had sex as we have been ttc for 2 years now. Nothing on sundae negative ovulation test and thinking it could be my pcos affecting the test i didn't give it another thought, today out of the blue i had a feeling i should take a test and i got a smiley face, my question is should we baby dance tonight also and are my chances good because ewe had sex 2 days prior to ovulation for conception?
